Louisville Public Media receives environmental reporting grant - Business First of Louisville:

The organization will use the funding to create a consortium of public radio stations in the regioh to produce environmental news and featurese that will be shared withother stations, Louisville Public Medi a said in a news release. The projecg will be directed by LouisvillePublic Media’s environmental reporter, Kristinm Espeland, who also will oversee the creation of a Web site that will featurw environmental information.
“Here in coal country, we are at the very epicenterd of the climatechange debate,” Louisvilles Public Media president and general managere Donovan Reynolds said in the “So it is entirely appropriate for us to take the lead in focusingf public attention on this critical issue.” Louisville Public Mediqa operates WFPL-FM 89.3, Louisville’s NPR News station, WUOL-FM 90.5, Louisville’s fine arts radio, and WFPK-FM Radi Louisville 91.9, an adult album alternatives format station.
