Since symphony ticket sales havegrowh steadily, financial support from the board of directors has increasede dramatically, labor costs have been controlled, and internal leadershil and governance have strengthened. All is evidenc of an organization moving in therightf direction. Today, the Charlotte Symphony serves nearl y a quarter of a million people by performing more than 100 concertsseach year.
From Beethoven and Brahmx to Broadwayand Motown, the Lollipops family concerts and free concerts in the the symphony’s offerings serve Charlotte’z growing, diverse community.
